Intro
After all the things I'd heard about from last years South By Southwest conference, there was no way that I was going to miss it again. When it came time to sign up last October (roughly), I logged onto the website and plunked down my early registration fee on one of the first days possible. Over the course of the next couple months building up to it, I got more and more excited knowing that I'd be meeting lots and lots of people in person that I'd only thusfar talked to over the web.

As with my comments on my previous three trips, linked words in the body of the trip diary will either take you to an individuals site (warning, Day 2 is particularly link-intensive), or to a picture that I took, along with some further commentary on them (you'll figure it out easily enough). I went by myself, but met tons of people on the trip, so instead of giving any more background on myself, I'll cut to the chase and let you get started with things. Oh, I'll also warn you that because I spent a lot of time walking around by myself taking pictures, there are a lot of self-portraits. Please don't be too scared away, though.
